Two weeks back I saw the movie 'Slumdog millionaire'. I had to see it ..had heard so much about it and it also featured one of my favorite cities....Mumbai..so close to my heart.
This movie is about three kids( 2 boys and a girl) who grow up in the slums of Mumbai...where living everyday is a greater challenge that we have ever known of. But its not a sad sobbing story of their day to day challenges in the slums. Its how the three get separated from each other and get re-united in an exciting twist. The story really gets interesting when one of the kids 'Jamaal' enters the TV show 'who wants to be a millionaire' not to be a millionaire but to really find the love of his life 'Latika' (the girl from the slums)....hoping that she's watching the show. Each question he answers on the show turns out to be the right one not becoz his Gk is good but interstetingly there is a story behind that too.......
Anyway, its a great movie and a must watch for everybody !!!
